The City of Palm Desert is assessing the impacts of Hurricane Hilary on the community and
responding as quickly as possible. The City has cleared many of the roadways for safer travel and
we are now focused on recovery and clean up. In order to assist in the development of this
recovery plan the City seeks your assistance in evaluating damage to your business and
neighborhood by answering the following questions:
How many people were displaced in your home?
What is the extent of property damage?
Did you experience any utility loss? (power, gas, water, sewer – and for how long)
Was there any damage to the private roads and/or amenities?
Did anyone in your residence experience any injury during the storm?
What, if any, are your immediate needs from the City?
