RES FA-08RESOLUTION NO. FA-8
A RESOLUTION OF THE PALM DESERT FINANCING
AUTHORITY AMENDING ITS BYLAWS TO APPOINT A
DEPUTY SECRETARY OF THE AUTHORITY, AND
AUTHORIZING CERTAIN ACTIONS
THE PALM DESERT FINANCING AUTHORITY HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES,
RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment of Bylaws. Section 9 is hereby added to
Article II of the Bylaws of the Palm Desert Financing Authority to
read as follows:
"Section 9. Deputy Secretary. The Deputy Secretary
shall be the then current Executive Director of the Palm
Desert Redevelopment Agency. The Deputy Secretary shall
perform all duties of the Secretary in the absence of the
Secretary."
Section 2. Other Acts. The officers of the Authority,
including, without limitation, its deputy officers acting in the
place and stead of such officers, are hereby authorized and
directed, jointly and severally, to execute and deliver
certificates and documents which they may deem necessary or
advisable to effectuate the issuance of bonds by the Authority, as
described in Resolution Nos. 6 and 7 of the Authority.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon adoption.
